Noah James’ Eagle Scout Project Book Drive

10/24/2018 onward
Santa Maria CA

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

I’m Noah James. I am doing this book drive in association with the African Library Project to send books to the Kpantech Demonstration School in Ghana.

We want to start a library in Africa because...

Starting a library in Africa is one simple way we can provide service to anyone. It’s super cool that we can donate the books that we don’t need anymore. Rather than throwing them out we can let tons of other children use them for their educational growth.

About our African Partners...

Kpantech Demonstration School is in Ghana. I am the only book drive for the creation of their primary community library.

Please contribute these kinds of books...

Gently used books that are non-religious and are for kids in pre-school to 8th grade.

We need to raise funds for shipping the books...

If you don’t have any books that’s OK. I also need money donations - any amount helps.
