Immaculate Conception JHS Community Book Drive - Eagle Scout Project

11/25/2018 to 02/15/2019
Katy TX

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

We want to start a library in Africa because...

I am Sameer Gupta a Life Scout with Troop 209 and working on my Eagle Scout service project. I am a 10th Grade student at Seven Lakes High School.

I am an avid reader. I would read any books I could get my hands on, but not everybody is so fortunate to have access to books across the globe. I am Looking to start a library in to start a library in Ghana, via Ghana Community book drive.
