African Library Project

Three Kids for Ghana Book Drive

07/01/2018 to 03/20/2019
Reno NV

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

Our three children-DJ, Delilah and Dinah-are trying to start a library in Ghana.

We want to start a library in Africa because...

We want children in Africa to benefit from the same access to books that we enjoy. Libraries promote literacy. Literacy is the pathway to success.

About our African Partners...

This will be a community library in Ghana that will serve children in pre-school through high school.

Please contribute these kinds of books...

We need gently used books that are pre-school through 8th grade reading level.

Here's how you can contribute your books...

Book collection will start on July 1, 2018 and end on March 20, 2019 when the books will be shipped.

We need to raise funds for shipping the books...

Our partners in Ghana are busy creating a wonderful community library space. It will cost $500 to ship our books to fill their library shelves.

Here are some ways that you can help...
