On October 24, 2008 Yujin Gakuen Japanese Immersion Elementary School in Eugene, Oregon had a Fall Festival, called Akimatsuri. The Scholastic Book Fair was going on at the same time, so. they raised funds to purchase new books for the African Library Project and to sendbooks to Katrina disaster victims.
