Anya's World Adventures' African Library Project

10/01/2016 to 12/03/2016
Allen TX

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

My name is Nikko FungChung and I am the author and creator of Anya's World Adventures (AWA) Book Series. AWA was created to encourage young readers to learn about and explore other countries and cultures. I decided to join the African Library Project because I believe it is just as important to make a difference in the world as it is to learn about it.

1000 books and $500.00 is all it takes to build a new library in Kenya! With your help, I know we can reach (if not surpass), this goal by December 2016. There are a number of ways you can contribute - I've listed them below.

Thank you for visiting this page!
Be sure to share it with a friend :-)

We want to start a library in Africa because...

The gift of reading is the gift that keeps on giving. Each time you open a book, you can learn something new, go somewhere you've never been and connect with people you've yet to meet. Building a library in Kenya will make the magic of reading available to students for years to come.
