African Library Project

Paloma Valley High School's ALP Book Drive

02/01/2016 to 05/15/2016
Meniffee CA

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

Interact Club, a community service group that volunteers to help promote peace, and Book Club, a group that shares the love for literacy, are teaming up our interests to help make a difference in the world!

We want to start a library in Africa because...

We truly believe that the ability to read is a superpower that enables a person to become empowered in every single way.

Please contribute these kinds of books...

Preschool to 8th Grade reading level books. Prefer paperbacks and books with colorful pictures. Books with boring and dull print, regarding US & Canadian government, regarding religion and anything non educational are not preferred.

Here's how you can contribute your books...

Email the primary coordinator, Kaylani Salvatera, at 288541@my.puhsd.org for details on how to donate books

We need to raise funds for shipping the books...

Donate to Paloma Valley High School's Interact Club, for more information email Kaylani Salvatera 288541@my.puhsd.org

Here are some ways that you can help...
