01/19/2016 to 04/20/2016
Spring Grove IL

The African Library Project brings gently used books to an African community that has lots of eager readers but very few books. Please help by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It only takes 1000 books and $500 to start a single library (and a little elbow grease!)

This book drive is organized by ...

We are freshmen in high school looking to help out those in need in Africa!! Donating books for a library is great way to do so!!

We want to start a library in Africa because...

We have the ability and resources to read, and we wish that for others too! Starting this project gives us a great opportunity to personally help others become literate. This will also expand knowledge to different parts of the world and invoke people of any race, sex, or religion to do something in the world to make it better.

About our African Partners...

Ghana Junior High School/primary school library!!

Please contribute these kinds of books...

Pre-school to 6th grade level reading.

Here are some ways that you can help...

If possible, donate 5 books! Any amount will do, though! As far as money goes, our optimum amount per person is $10, so tell others so we can find 50 people to each donate $10!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!
