We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

Tony Liu in Pearland, TX. I am a high school freshman student and enjoy reading. I started an English club that benefits students who wish to improve their English skills in China. Recently, I learned that many countries in West Africa have experienced closings of their schools due to epidemics and diseases. I decided to be involved in African Library Project in an effort to help improve literacy in Africa.

We want to start a library in Africa because...

Everyone in the world should be able to experience the gift of knowledge and to be able to enjoy the wonders of literature.

About our African Partners...

These books will be used to build a primary library at Moyeni Primary school and a secondary library at Mopholosi High school in Lesotho.
