Langham Boston Library Project 2015

01/12/2015 to 05/10/2015
Boston MA

The African Library Project brings gently used books to an African community that has lots of eager readers but very few books. Please help by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It only takes 1000 books and $500 to start a single library (and a little elbow grease!)

This book drive is organized by ...

The Langham, Boston

Tips for Other Book Drive Organizers

One of the fundraising we did was to sell red balloons for valentine, all the colleagues were encourage to send balloons to each other and we had a couple of cupids (collegues dressed with red) delivering to all the offices.
The fundraising exceeded our expectation, we spread cheers to all and everyone was excited to help the cause.
We asked libraries for donations, went to thrift stores and bought books by bags, we involved our children and a principal donated 300 books.
