The African Library Project brings gently used books to an African community that has lots of eager readers but very few books. Please help by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It only takes 1000 books and $500 to start a single library (and a little elbow grease!)

I am an Eagle Scout Candidate, doing this book drive as my Eagle Scout Project. It is important to help support education, because education leads to development and modernization.

We want to start a library in Africa because...

As someone interested in science and physics, spreading education is extremely important to me. Not everyone in the world has access to libraries and books, and everyone should.

There will be collection bins at the local library, Temple Beth El, and other locations.

We need to raise funds for shipping the books...

Fundraising will be done online and at the collection locations.
