The African Library Project brings gently used books to an African community that has lots of eager readers but very few books. Please help by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It only takes 1000 books and $500 to start a single library (and a little elbow grease!)

In honor of my Bar Mitzvah I decided to share my love of reading with other kids in Swaziland. I hope my efforts will help other kids find books that they truly love to read!

We want to start a library in Africa because...

I want to give kids the same opportunities I have to explore lots of different types of books.

I am collecting books for a secondary school in Swaziland.

I am mostly looking for 4th - 8th grade level books, but I am willing to take any type of book (must be in good condition).
