Books 4 Africa

06/20/2014 to 02/02/2015
Los Angeles CA

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

Johanna Azuaje. Hi! Thank you for visiting my page!!. I am starting a library in Malatswai Primary School in the Serowe District of Botswana, South Africa. This is a completely not-for profit organization. The giving and sharing of love for reading and books is its own reward :).

We want to start a library in Africa because...

Children all over the world need to know that literacy is available to them. The love of books and learning is a precious gift we can cultivate in young minds that are hungry for ideas, knowledge and inspiration for a better life.
