02/07/2014 to 06/1/2014
Compton CA

The African Library Project brings gently used books to an African community that has lots of eager readers but very few books. Please help by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It only takes 1000 books and $500 to start a single library (and a little elbow grease!)

This book drive is organized by ...

We want to start a library in Africa because...

The scope of the project is to make literacy the first priority. When we know better we are better. How can we do better? Open Up A Book.

About our African Partners...

We will be sending books to Malawi for a secondary school library that will be open to the community. We'll find out the name of the school soon.

Please contribute these kinds of books...

Please we are asking for donations for secondary school library: Books at U.S 4th to 8th reading level.

Here's how you can contribute your books...

We are accepting almost new to new books only: School books as well as reading books, we will be currently accepting the book donations @ 206 W.Poplar St. # D Compton, CA. 90220. Starting Feb 2, 2014, through June 1, 2014

We need to raise funds for shipping the books...

So with your donations Priceless Anointing can help start a library in Africa. We will host a fundraiser for local authors right in our community whereas proceeds will go to ship the books to the library in Africa. If you want to just give a donation you can send your donations to Minister Rosilyn Diaz @ 206 W. Poplar St. # D Compton, CA.90220
All donations are tax deductible and the best part about it is you are enriching and changing lives for children who really need it. So will you please give a gift of love.

Here are some ways that you can help...

I am looking for volunteers to help with book packing party, help organize fundraising event, put up flyers, donate books, donate supplies. and collecting books. For a small donation of $5 dollars you can change a child's llfe with a book.
