Books for Botswana

10/01/2013 to 12/01/2013
Westlake Village CA

We are working with the African Library Project to provide books to eager readers in Africa who have very few books. Please help us by collecting and delivering gently used books or by raising money to help pay for shipping to Africa. It takes only 1000 books and $500 (plus a little elbow grease!) to start a single library and make a huge difference in children’s lives.

This book drive is organized by ...

Books for Botswana is a project that my son Mak and I decided to start, because we believe that knowledge is a catalyst to help young people create a future where they can live their potential. We know that enriched minds collectively create better solutions to whatever challenges their communities face.

About our African Partners...

We will be sending the books to Motshegaletau Primary School which is our current partner. We are looking forward to opening a library in this school, to help children learn and share their learning with their communities.

Please contribute these kinds of books...
